My Approach in Sessions

I bring a grounded, calm, and down-to-earth presence to sessions, creating a non-judgmental, collaborative space where you can feel seen and supported. I value humor as a tool to stay connected, grounded, and resilient while tackling life’s challenges. Together, we explore your goals, develop strategies, and navigate challenges toward understanding, growth, and self-trust.

Areas I Work With

I support adults 18+ navigating:

  • Anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and substance use

  • Life transitions, workplace and career challenges, burnout, and education-related stress

  • Relationship struggles, including communication issues, codependency, and family or peer conflicts

  • Trauma, including PTSD, C-PTSD, religious trauma, and past pain

Supporting Caregivers, Healthcare Workers &; First Responders

I work with caregivers, healthcare workers, and first responders who often shoulder invisible burdens. Together, we address trauma, stress, and burnout; build strategies to set boundaries; and create space for self-care while continuing your important work.

Affirming LGBTQIA+ & Anti-Oppression Focus

I provide inclusive care for LGBTQIA+ individuals and center anti-racism, anti-oppression, and a feminist, strengths-based approach. I view struggles in the context of societal, cultural, and political factors - such as gender bias, oppression, and stereotypes - rather than personal failings. Therapy is a safe space where your identity is respected, your experiences are validated, and you can explore growth without judgment.

Certifications
