Insurance
In Network — It is important for you to contact your insurance company prior to choosing a provider. Even when in network, each company has specific plans that may not include our therapists. Grander Peace Counseling has providers who are in network for most plans within Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, HealthPartners, Optum Products (Medica, Bind, Surest, UBH, UHC, UMR), and UCare health insurance companies, as well as Minnesota Medical Assistance.

Out of Network — Our group has out of network providers for most other health insurance companies. Clients are responsible to pay the full fee at the time of service by using cash, check, major credit/debit cards, HSA (Health Savings Account)/FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards.
“Out-of-network” describes providers and facilities that haven’t signed a contract with your health plan. Out-of-network providers may be permitted to bill you for the difference between what your plan agreed to pay and the full amount charged for a service. This amount is likely more than in-network costs for the same service and might not count toward your annual out-of-pocket limit.
Grander Peace Counseling has signed a non-participating agreement with Hennepin Health and SCHA. This means that we will accept the rate and what is paid for by the insurance plan per the agreement.
***Our group members are not providers for the following specific plans***
UCare Fairview Silver and Gold, Blue Plus Metro MN Network, PHCS, or BCBS High Value Network.
