Grander Peace Counseling LLC is a mental health practice located on Grand Avenue in Saint Paul. The office is expanding and seeking two dedicated psychotherapists as independent contractors to fill emerging needs.  The position can start small and grow over time to reach your desired caseload. Job description

The search is for candidates who have experience in providing individual psychotherapy, couples/relationship counseling, and/or family therapy. There is additional interest in candidates who have experience conducting group therapy.  

Qualified candidates will meet the following criteria:

• Master’s degree or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Counseling, or related field.

• Fully licensed in the state of Minnesota (LP, LICSW, LMFT, LPCC)

• Ability to acquire and maintain malpractice insurance

• Two years of private practice experience

• Preference given to candidates that are currently credentialed with insurance panels

Special consideration will be given to practitioners with certification or training in yoga therapy, mindfulness techniques, and other mind/body/spirit practices.  Other specializations of interest include:

• Art Therapy

• Client-centered approaches

• Creative therapies

• Somatic/body therapies

• EMDR

 Successful candidates will have:

• Experience and training providing individual, couple’s, and family therapy.

• Firm foundation and knowledge in theory of choice.

• Ability to complete required paperwork for billing in an accurate and timely manner.

• Ability to complete and maintain all clinical records.

Compensation

The position will be compensated on a part-time contractual basis. Clinicians will be allotted regular days of the week and times to provide therapy as well as consistent office space.
